The Best Way to Spread Christmas Cheer...

It's the first of December!

It really does feel like this year has gone by SO fast. I am pretty sure I say that every single year, but this year it feels especially true. Does anybody else feel that way?

We have been trying to get into the festive swing of things, although it does feel slightly different this year and just not very...festivey. I have festooned the house with paper chains and snowflakes (try as I might, I can never quite do paper snowflakes very well...) I would like to say Christmas shopping is well underway but um...well, I have made a start at least.

Over on our socials, we have got a little bit of a competition running at the moment, to try to spread a smidgen of Christmas cheer a little early. You can win 2 books - The Book With No Pictures and MY Book With No Pictures.

The Book With No Pictures is an absolute firm favourite in the Little Bird Household. It is, without a doubt, one of the most hilarious children's books I have ever read. It is indeed a book, with no pictures, The idea, when you say it like that, sounds so...boring. But trust me, it is hilarious. It is full of really ridiculous words.

Its sister book, My Book With No Pictures is pretty much the same, only this time there are gaps to be filled in with whatever funny words you can come up with - making your own Book With No Pictures.

They seemed like the perfect pair to give away, to try to get in the festive spirit.

I am thinking that maybe we could another giveaway as well, when this one has ended; maybe something more for the grown ups.

Our packages over the festive period may contain a couple of little extras as well. So, keep a peeper on that, I may reveal more when I have had chance to take decent photos...or if you receive a bookish package from us, you can find out yourself!
