Book Conditions Explained

“A book worn out, is a book well used.” - Kate Ashley

Any specific defects will be listed for each individual book. Please note that we do our best to describe books accurately and we are often conservative in our estimations; however we are only human, and errors can occur where we may miss something.

Immaculate - The book is to all intents and purposes, new.

Excellent - Almost like new - no visible signs of wear or use, however it may have been read.

Very Good - The book may show slight signs of wear on the cover or pages.

Good - The book may have visible signs of wear, from reading or storage.

Ok - The book may have quite a few signs of wear, either on the cover or the pages, or both.

Poor - The book has obviously seen better days, and may have lots of visible wear or damage to the cover or the pages, but still has lots of life left in it.

Very Poor - The text remains intact and readable, but the book generally may be falling apart.
